COVID-19 Relief - Feed The Hungry Initiative by Sewadham under the guidance of Mr Sudhir Bhai Goyal. We have distributed above One Lac hungry and deprived people around Ujjain area, and we want to help provide meals to 5 lacs people so that no one sleeps hungry.
India ranked 102 out of 117 countries in the 2019 Global Hunger Index – below Pakistan and Nepal in South Asia – with the hunger level in the country categorized as "serious." This position has been worsened due to lockdown and loss of daily wages as well. Limited work opportunities and uncertainties due to the lockdown have left them in a lurch, with nowhere to go for earning daily meals for themselves and their families. In addition, people who are sick might not get the treatment they need because hospitals are overwhelmed by Covid cases.
